Five free events at Good Beer Week

It’s time to get your guzzle on. Good Beer Week kicked off over the weekend and we’ve round up some of the best free events happening this week so you can save those tenners for a pint or two.
Beer Safari @ CBD
Here’s one for the adventure loving beer nut. Cookie, The Toff in Town, Boney and Revolver Upstairs want you to nab a Safari Passport at any of the aforementioned venues and join them on a Beer Safari. Seek out clues and stamps and kill some beer trivia for a chance to bag some prizes.

4 Pines Beer Mimics Food @ Builders Arms Hotel, 211 Gertrude St, Fitzroy
Chef Andrew McConnell and comedian Mick Molloy have buckled down with the brewers at 4 Pines to create two extra unique hops – an Asian-inspired XO sauce ale and an Anzac biscuit stout. What a cracker!

Mystery Cellar Dwellers @ The Local Taphouse, 184 Carlisle St, St Kilda East
You’re in for a thrill and spill this week as The Local wheels out some extremely rare and unusual beers from around the globe. Pints are limited, so get on it, aficionados.

Beer, BBQ and Beats @ Saint & Rogue, 582 Little Collins St, Melbourne
Don’t be sorry for party rocking: reign in the weekend with a cold beer and a hot barbie at Saint & Rogue’s pop-up beer garden. Plus Toobarac Brewery’s famous Beerbulance is taking over the taps, and we hear there’s a limited edition GBW-exclusive brew to boot!
