Wah Gwan! Los Barbudos bar is celebrating the flavours and colours of the Caribbean this weekend with Jabili’s Kitchen and their voodoo jerk chicken for their Jerk Down Yard II event.

The ‘Jamaican Bird’ is a perfect tropical blend of dark rum and pineapple to accompany the deliciously punchy flavours of Jamaican jerk.

We’ve only got a few more warm days ahead of us, so visit this Sunday from 3pm for Jamaican rum, reggae music, Red Stripe (hooray beer!) and the spicy sensations of Jabili’s voodoo jerk!

Ingredients:
45ml Appleton VX Dark Rum
10ml Campari
5ml Grenadine
20ml Lime
30ml Pineapple
3 dashes of bitters

Add all ingredients, shake well and serve up over ice. Garnish with pineapple wedge, cherry and umbrella. Enjoy!
