Photographer of the week: Georgia Smedley
Posted by Steph Wade
21. Jun, 2013
Georgia Smedley is a Melbourne photographer who describes her work as an open diary of youth and vulnerability. Her photography is inspired by the people around her and the issues they’re facing: be it young motherhood, body image, gender identity or sexuality.
Through her work at Reach Georgia has worked with a lot of young people in need and looks to capture some of these moments in her images.
As a social documentary and fashion photographer, the next step is to move on to New York and work on side projects.
