Rooftop Mexican Party at Touche Hombre

Melbourne hospo young gun Davis Yu (who at 23 already has a lazy three restaurants under his belt) is teaming up with grand-daddy of Mexican street food Richard Ampudia to put on a rooftop party this Friday, as you do.

Davis is hosting Ampudia at Touche Hombre, where the chef behind New York restaurants such as L’Esquina, Super Linda and Bar Bruno will be whipping up a bunch of his favourite dishes over the week. Look out for roasted corn, skirt steak tacos, mushroom quesadillas and fish tacos.

The Mex Fest culminates up on an abandoned rooftop carpark next to Touche - where dancers, live music, magic and even a Mexican horror show will apparently all be in attendance. And plenty of first rate Mexican food too.

The party is Friday 8 March from 7pm at Golden Square Rooftop Carpark, 217-231 Lonsdale Street.
