Leading primate expert and conservationist Dr. Jane Goodall will be visiting Australia in June to share her knowledge and passion for wildlife. With over 50 years experience working with the chimpanzees of Gombe, the Roots & Shoots youth organisation founder will be speaking at the Melbourne Zoo about the importance of protecting our planets future.

“Change happens by listening and then starting a dialogue with the people who are doing something you don’t believe is right.”
Dr. Goodall’s research was first to prove that humans are not the only species who make and use tools, and, contrary to popular belief, chimpanzee are not vegetarian and regularly hunt smaller primates in groups.

This is a rare opportunity for Victorians to hear the views of a committed conservationist campaigning internationally to ensure a future for not only chimpanzees but wildlife worldwide. Don’t miss it!

WHEN: Saturday 9 June, 1pm-3:30pm
WHERE: Melbourne Zoo, Elliott Avenue, Parkville
