Pot Luck: Clock Tower IPA from True South
Posted by Paul Drury
27. Jan, 2012
Down at Black Rock smack bang on the beach sits True South Brewery, the best setting for any brewery in Melbourne, maybe the state.
Aside from sitting pretty True South cranks out some rather attractive beers too, with head brewer Sam Fuss responsible for excellent brews like the New World Pilsener, Red Truck Lager and Dark Ale.
The latest from the bayside brewery is the Clock Tower IPA, named after the old clock tower across the street (not the one from Back to the Future). This American style IPA is the handiwork of Sam’s second in command Brian, and comes loaded with hops and a bitterness that’s offset with hints of stone fruits like mango and pawpaw. Tastes pretty good too.
Clock Tower IPA is available for a limited time at Yarra Lounge, Dexter’s Bar and Cafe, The Fox Hotel and The Local Taphouse to name a few.
